I'm Maddie, your clinical nurse educator, bringing a tapestry of healthcare experiences woven from various specialties including Med-Surg, Post-Op Ortho, Plastics, Home Health, and, most fervently, Emergency Department nursing. My journey began in 2020 at a Level 2 trauma center, expanded into Austin's premier Level 1 trauma facility, and now unfolds into the academic realm. With a heart rooted in critical care, I've honed my expertise in medical resuscitation, trauma, and stroke care, a passion that has been the catalyst for my current pursuit of an MSN-FNP degree and future Emergency Nurse Practitioner certification.
